سنيار: يحتفل المسيحيون هذه الأيام بعيد القيامة أو عيد الفصح والذي يستذكرون فيه قيامة المسيح من بين الأموات بعد ثلاثة أيام من صلبه وموته كما هو مسطور في الجزء الثاني من الإنجيل.

ويعتبر تاريخ عيد الفصح متنقل، وهو غالبا في الأحد الأول بعد اكتمال قمر الربيع الأول – أي 21 مارس؛ وهو ما يدفع تاريخ الفصح بين 22 مارس و25 أبريل، وهناك من يعتبره بين 4 أبريل و8 مايو لمتبّعي التقويم الشرقي.

وتختلف عادات الفصح في مختلف أنحاء العالم المسيحي، غير أن الهتاف بتحية عيد الفصح، وتزيين المنازل، وعادة البيض، ووضع قبر فارغ في الكنائس، وأرنب الفصح، هي من العادات الاجتماعية المرتبطة بالفصح، إلا أنّ طريقة الإحتفال بين المسيحيين تختلف، كما في الصور التالية التي نشرتها الديلي ميل عن أغرب الطرق للإحتفال بالقصح في بعض الدول.

حيث يصلب الفلبينيون عادة شخصا ما، ويلطم آخرون أنفسهم، ويصلبون أنفسهم على الأرض، فيما يحتفل البعض في إسبانيا بألبسة وقبعات مدببة وأغطية وجه خاصة لايمكنك تمييز شخص عن غيره، بينما يحتفل السلوفاكيون بالرقص ورمي فتاة في النهر فيما يبدو أنها تعبير لرمي قربان:
